KorCare Ltd is a Specialised Residential Care Facility based in Teignmouth Devon.

The home looks out onto the sea. It is within 5 minutes walking distance from the town of Teignmouth, the seafront, the esplanade, the station, the bus stop, a local Mental Health team, and any of the three doctor’s surgeries.

A little further afield are the towns of Dawlish, Babbacombe, Paignton, Torquay, Shaldon, the historical city of Exeter, and the Dartmoor countryside.

Teignmouth (pop. 18000), Devon is situated on the estuary of the River Teign, and is a working port. It is within easy reach of Dartmoor, enjoys the warmer Devon climate, and encourages a relaxing, stress free environment. Being a holiday destination, it is ideal for family member's to be able to make contact with the clients and enjoy the surrounding sights. There are plenty of inexpensive guest houses to accommodate visitors.

Both the M5 and the A30/A303 come through Exeter and Teignmouth is approximately 20 minutes further west, off the A386.

The town has an interesting variety of shops and carries the holiday flavour of a small Devon Town. There is always something of interest happening locally, and even when the entertainment scene is silent, there is the lovely estuary, the accessible countryside and the seafront, to enjoy.

The location of Teignmouth is seen to be of particular advantage. Well away from the busy city centres, the client is able to fashion his/her own environment without the pressures exerted by city life.

Clients and Social Workers are welcome to visit without obligation and can stay on a trial basis if required. Contracts are always subject to three month’s trial period for both the client and KorCare Ltd.
