The facility carries a management & staff complement of 27. The staff set up as listed below is designed to provide comprehensive flexible support to all clients. Care plans are formulated individually and client needs differ considerably. Flexibility is our key and we pride ourselves on being flexible enough to cope with client needs and involvement. We maintain a very heavy staff/client ratio and will extend our resources that ‘extra mile’, adapting both care plans and staff programming to fulfil client requirements. The most valuable qualification to possess is 'experience', and after 15 years in dealing with clients suffering from Korsakoff's Syndrome, KorCareLtd staff are trained and best equipped to provide the day to day needs of the clients. Korsakoff clients particularly need constant support whilst settling in and ongoing involvement with support staff and other clients to maximise quality of life. Often location presents problems and clients need subtle, thoughtful support to assist familiarity with their environment.
